Question #1: What 3 photos do you feel are your strongest?
The three photos that are my strongest are the palm tree, the icicles, and the scented sticks.
Question #2: What did you do to make, or why do you feel they are so interesting?
The palm tree photo was by far the hardest one that I took. I took about 15 shots before I finally got the end result which made this picture look so good. My icicle picture was also one of my best pictures because of the editing. The icicle picture is a relatively simple picture and it only took me a few shots to get it perfect. I improved the icicle picture by cropping out the unattractive part of the building, and by putting it in black and white giving it a much more dramatic feeling. My scented sticks picture was also in my top three. I created this photo by taking it from a certain angle. I got on top of a counter and took this photo by looking down on the sticks. I also focused the lens on the tips of the sticks instead of the glass bottle that the sticks were in, which I thought made the picture look better.
Question #3: Explain 3 things you learned from this assignment OR explain 3 things you wish you would have done
I learned a lot from this assignment. One thing that I learned was using composition in my pictures makes them much more attractive and gives them a better look. Another thing that I learned was using Picasa to edit my photos. I used Picasa to edit all of my photos, and the end result was amazing, the editing I did to my photos really improved them and helped me throughout this assignment. The last thing that I learned throughout this assignment was to be patient. I took a lot of photos throughout this assignment, and a lot of them were not very good. All of my pictures that I took I didn't get on the first shot, I had to be patient and keep retaking them until I got the final shot that I wanted.
