My three best photos are the big shoes photo, the domino photo, and the candle photo.
I made these photos interesting by taking them at certain angles. The big shoe photo, took awhile for me to set up but I eventually got it. I had the shoes very close to the camera and my sister was in the background which made the photo appear that my sister was wearing really big shoes, but in reality they were regular sized. To make the domino picture have a cool affect I positioned them so that the two outside domino's were pointing in towards the one in the middle. I then got on the ground and took the shot from an angle level with the domino's, I just set the camera on the floor and then took the picture. The candle picture, I lit the candle on fire and stood on the counter and took the picture while looking down on the candle. This shot was different from all of my other photos because it had a relatively high shutter speed because I was pointing the camera straight into the light that the candle was giving off.
One thing that I learned from this assignment was that angles make a difference when taking my pictures. I think that the angles that I took my pictures on really improved them, and made them turn out much better than they would have if they were on a boring straight on angle. Another thing that I learned was that positioning the camera and subject can cause different types of illusions. The big shoe and big Iphone pictures were good examples of this, because they were both illusions and were misleading both the iphone and shoes are different sizes than how they are shown in my pictures. One thing that I could have improved on is lowering the shutter speed instead of raising the ISO. I raised the ISO a lot when taking these pictures, and a few of them turned out grainy. For my next assignment when shooting indoors I think that I will lower the shutter speed instead of creating a grainy photo because of the increased ISO.
